Mike began playing snare drum in 2006 through the American Celtic organization. He often attended the St. Patrick's Day parade as a boy with his father, which inspired him to learn the snare drum. His main tutelage has come from Lane Maxson, Andy Hamilton and Bob Mulligan.

Mike's favorite pipe bands are the Cullen pipe band of County Cork, FDNY Emerald Society and American Celtic of course! His favorite tunes are Garry Owen and Scotland the Brave. His most enjoyable moment with the band, besides marching up 5th Ave on St. Patty's Day, was watching Walt try to play street beat at Montauk with one hand and hold up his kilt with the other!

Mike lives in Huntington with his wife MaryAnne and their three children Michael, Jillian and Danny.
