JAMES ELLIOTT
Pipe Major - Competition Band

James Elliot began learning the bagpipes at the age of 9, with initial instruction from Frank Riggio. He joined the ranks of American Celtic Pipe Band in 2004. James plays a set of Kintail bagpipes. A few of his favorite pipe bands include the Black Watch, Scottish Power and the Red Hot Chili Pipers. His favorite tunes are Glasgow City Police Pipers and Itchy Fingers.

In 2010, James took the reigns as Pipe Major of the American Celtic Pipe Band's competition unit and led them to a fourth place finish at the Nassua Feis in Grade V.
