CONNOR FRANCIS
Bagpiper

Connor started his career as a piper at the age of 13 under the instruction of Scott Gajdos. He joined American Celtic in 2006. He credits himself for convincing his dad (Walt) to join after telling him about the free food and beer (mostly the free beer part) served at many of the gigs...although his father's story is a wee bit different.

Connor's favorite pipe band is Field Marshal Montgomery. His favorite piper is Jack Lee and a few of his favorite tunes include Wings, Maries Wedding and Rowan Tree. He continues his recruiting quest by regularly harassing one of his HS teachers/inactive ACPB member, Chris Ryan to re-up for another tour with the band.

Connor is currently a student at Babylon High School. His future plan is to become a chef and open his own restaurant where he plans to serve "piping" hot food. His most outstanding memory with the band is a toss up between marching in his 1st NYC St. Patrick's Day parade and watching Scott fly across the bus on the way home from the Montauk parade.
