Instructors

PIPING

Pat Ryan is the Pipe Major and primary instructor for the pipe corps. Pat began his piping career in 1984 under the instruction of Donal Morrissey, Sr. His primary instruction throughout his piping career came from former ACPB Pipe Major Jim Ryan, most recently of the LA Scots. Pat is a Grade III solo competitor and played with the Grade III Mesa Caledonian Pipe Band from Arizona at the World's in 2003.

James Keenan is the primary instructor for our student pipers. James has been a member of the band since 2005 and is a successful Grade IV solo competitor. His teaching background serves him (and his students) well as the new instructor for our beginning pipers.

DRUMMING

Drumming Instructor Andy Hamilton is an accomplished soloist and currently plays with the newly formed New York Metro Pipe Band.
