Scott's Blog
- Scott Gajdos departed for the other side of the pond back in May
of 2008. Scott was the primary piping instructor for the band for
over 3 years, and had a significant role in the development and
growth of the pipe corps. Read about his travels in Ireland and

- Mesa
Caledonian Jim Ryan, Jr.'s move to Arizona allowed him to hook up with this
Grade III Pipe Band. Jim spent 5 yeras with Mesa Calendonian
before moving on to....
- LA Scots in 2008, where he
is now a member of this world-class Grade 1 pipe band.

Clann na h'Eireann Janine (Meehan) Perez and her husband Ted recently joined the pipe ranks of Clann na h'Eireann in Baltimore. While Ted's still
learning the ropes, Janine is sure to be a great addition to their Grade IV band
- Dunlap Highland Band Tom Ryan has recently joined the pipe ranks of the Dunlap Highland Band up in Maine. Tom played for 15
years with the American Celtic, and his experience is sure to be an asset to
this Grade V group.
- Saffron United Irish Pipe Band A number of former members have gone on to join the Saffron United Irish Pipe Band, including former
founder and P/M Donal Morrisey, Sr., pipers Brendan and Sean O'Rourke, Donal
Morrisey, Jr., Neil McPherson, Heather McMullen, and Color Guard member Vinny
Kavanaugh.
- Tidewater Pipes and Drums has
a former member of the
American Celtic in their ranks. Carlyn (Hepburn) Tripp is a former Drum Seargant
of the ACPB. Carlyn is part of one of those many families you read about
in our Band History.
