BAND NEWS -- 2006
September 18, 2006 -- Introductions made at Nassau
Our second and final contest of the year served as an introduction to
the contest circuit for two of our bagpipers. Congratulations to James
Keenan and Bill Meehan on their first contest. Though the band finished
seventh, the day can be viewed a success because of the participation of
these two players.
August 21, 2006 -- Hunter Mountain Results
In our first contest of the year, the band placed 8th overall out of
16 bands, with the pipe corps coming in 5th. Read more about this
competition in our Round Table page. Our
next contest is the Nassau Feis on September 17th.
August 18, 2006 -- Gearing up for Hunter
The band has been working feverishly to prepare for Hunter Mountain
on August 20. With weekend practices and a strong commitment from new
members in the drum corps, we're looking forward to a positive outcome
this weekend.
August 16, 2006 -- Website gets an upgrade The last update was in February, but we've finally moved to a new server
and hosting environment. You'll see more frequent updates to the site in

Piper's Ball!
The 35th anniversary Piper's Ball was a great success last night. Despite
blizzard warnings across the tri-state area, we had a great turn out. A
special thanks to Noreen O'Callaghan for her efforts in making this year's
event a huge success.
January 15, 2006 - Piper's Ball is just around the corner...and so is
St. Patrick's Day season
The 35th anniversary of the American Celtic Pipe Band will be celebrated
at our annual Piper's Ball on Saturday, February 11 at the American Legion
Hall in Lindenhurst. Click here for
